Pierre Klein is a French artist and designer based in Toulouse whose work explores the tension between physical space and lost timelines. Bridging artisanal craftsmanship, formal research, and technical exploration, he shapes clay into objects and furniture that exist as blurry, twisted vestiges, relics of stories that never happened, bearing witness to submerged pasts and uncertain, dystopian futures.Haunted by the megalopolises he lived in for nearly twenty years, Klein draws inspiration from science fiction, prehistoric art, and the Space Age furniture of the 1960s and ’70s. Anchored in the present like lost memories, his pieces and installations are surrounded by immersive, multimedia storytelling, unfolding as gateways to everyday mythologies designed to stimulate the collective imagination without confining it.
