The sculptural and graceful chair Reina carries its strong lines and elegance like a queen which means its name. It was shaped with the need for a basic but bold look and created an aesthetic form by combining rectangular and square shapes with black lines. The back and seating area is made from black stained wood veneer and legs with black metal tubes. It can be a statement piece for those who want a strong impression at the entrance or classiness in an aesthetic corner of the living environment.

Studio Mohs is a creative studio based in Istanbul for searching and imagining various design experiences in a living environment. The works involve furniture and products combining old material with contemporary style and inspired by basic shapes that create clean aesthetics. We aim to transform the ancient material marble into plain and geometric forms by meeting modern lines and constitute a minimal aesthetic. Compose a language that will break the weight and classical perception of marble that formed millions of years ago with contemporary concept approaches, experimental representations, and 20th -century movements. We continue to create unique forms with strong details by including wood and metal materials. The meaning of Mohs is the hardness and resistance scale of minerals. Related to that, the beginning of a journey starts with the intimacy with marble and stone. The origins of Studio Mohs is coming from a long time experience of marble quarries. Years of working with this material has evolved into furniture, interior, and product design. The journey from nature to our living spaces has begun with the sculptural and completely marble coffee table designs produced in the marble factory in Alanya.
