Description

The Marcel Accent chair is a Futuristic, bold, and comfortable chair, inspired by organic hexagon shapes. The chair is named after the designer’s late dog – Marcel, a Maltese. The Marcel Accent chair will stand out in any room, and its slightly wider seat allows everyone to enjoy the comfort the chair has to offer. It is made in Ash wood, and upholstered pebble boucle fabric.

The Marcel Accent Chair can be made with a wood of choice such as walnut, oak, mahogany, and choice of fabric.

Nathan Chintala is a furniture maker and designer based in Brooklyn, NY. Nathan discovered his love for furniture while pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science. After taking a basic woodworking course at Brooklyn Woods, he committed himself to the art. Working for furniture/millwork companies, Nathan started designing his first collection and later showed it at ICFF in 2021. Nathan grounds his work in the principles of early American cabinet makers, using bench-made methods and sustainable materials to create individual pieces of furniture. His passion to make things motivates him to grow as a fabricator and designer.
