The lehn chair is a refined expression of furniture design, where purist simplicity meets precise craftsmanship. Its clear construction and thoughtful use of materials result in a chair that is elegant, light and built to endure.
Its timeless character, complemented by subtle geometric details, allows the chair to integrate effortlessly into a wide range of environments. The frame is crafted from solid hardwoods, with all joints meticulously executed as traditional mortise-and-tenon joints. The armrests are steam-bent from a single piece of wood, enhancing both the chair’s durability and structural integrity. A hand-woven paper cord seat completes the chair, adding a natural and tactile element to its construction.
Studio Lehn is committed to sourcing materials locally and working exclusively with natural materials. All pieces are designed in Berlin and crafted in our own workshop or in collaboration with selected local partners.
