Description

The FINA Chair is a handcrafted wooden chair designed around balance, structural clarity, and refined simplicity. Its slender proportions, delicate silhouette, and softened transitions create a visually light chair that combines strength, comfort, and traditional woodworking craftsmanship.

The structure is built using traditional mortise and tenon joinery, reinforced with exposed wooden wedges. These visible connections reveal how the chair is constructed, making the joinery an integral part of its aesthetic character. Laminated and shaped elements introduce subtle curves, while turned components add precision and rhythm to the minimalist structure.

Hand-finished surfaces preserve the natural texture and warmth of the wood, allowing the craftsmanship to remain visible throughout the piece. Despite its restrained proportions, FINA is designed for everyday use, with a comfortable structure that works naturally around dining tables, desks, and residential or hospitality spaces.

The seat is available in several configurations, each offering a different material expression while maintaining the same structural design. Solid wood seats emphasize the continuity and richness of the material; woven paper cord introduces texture and visual lightness; and the slatted seat creates a more architectural interpretation that highlights the construction.

FINA is available in solid walnut or ash, with multiple seat options to suit different interiors and applications. Its minimalist design and refined craftsmanship make it suitable as a dining chair, desk chair, occasional seating, or for contemporary hospitality and architectural projects.

The FINA Chair brings together traditional joinery, solid wood craftsmanship, contemporary proportions, and versatile seating options in a timeless piece designed for everyday use.
