Sabina was designed for the De Palo collection by Mexican artist Isabel Moncada. Made in natural parota wood, two inverted overlapping cones give the lamp a shape that suggests a quite charming female proportion. The base is turned parota with a matte finish, and the broad, robust lampshade is built from fiberglass and linen — sturdy enough to last a lifetime.
Isabel Moncada is a Mexican designer and artist who specialises in lighting and utilitarian art made in her own workshop in Mexico. Through exploring and finessing traditional manufacturing techniques, she has developed her own mechanisms and transformed materials to develop her designs and engrave her personal style. All of Isabel Moncada’s lighting is UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certified, which ensures a high standard of safety and quality.
The lamp uses a low-watt LED that lasts up to 18 years and saves 90% of energy consumption.
