Description

A dialogue of opposites by Valentin Bauer
A line of light, caught between softness and structure—PISCATIO is an exploration of contrast. The warm, flexible glow of LED filament bends and flows, suspended within the rigid, cold precision of raw aluminum extrusions. Light and material push against each other, revealing the tension between warmth and hardness, weight and weightlessness, technology and raw matter.

Rigid metal frames the soft, glowing line of light—cold structure meeting warm flow. No casing, no diffuser—just a quiet tension between material and glow.

About Valentin Bauer Visit Showroom →

Valentin Bauer (b. 1997, Austria) is an industrial designer and artist whose work dwells at the confluence of design, architecture, and social structures. Rooted in sociology and architecture, his multidisciplinary approach confronts contemporary design challenges with a critical and experimental spirit. Engaged deeply with materials, light, and technological boundaries, Bauer weaves complex social and spatial narratives into functional objects that provoke reflection. His practice is both a dialogue with tradition and an inquiry into the evolving nature of form and function. Exhibited internationally, his work occupies a vital space between design discourse and artistic investigation.
