Carried by a moving figure, it still emits light, becoming a symbol of resilience in the face of change. This lamp represents a convergence of two rarely associated fabrication techniques. Gilding, an ancient practice refined over centuries, is combined with contemporary 3D printing technology, a modern tool offering complete freedom of form. Together, they result in a unique object that bridges artisanal craftsmanship and innovation.
By uniting these seemingly contradictory approaches, the piece challenges the tendency to view technological progress as a linear replacement of traditional methods. Instead, it suggests a more nuanced possibility, in which artisanal traditions and digital processes enrich one another.
