Description

Slide Stool / Chair is a playful, multifunctional piece designed to shift effortlessly between uses. It functions as a chair, while the removable sliding backrest allows it to transform into a stool or a compact organizer. Its asymmetrical geometry introduces a subtle tension between balance and movement.

Inspired by single-line drawings and Bauhaus principles, the piece combines stainless steel and wool felt to achieve comfort without traditional upholstery. Two layers of felt pass through the metal frame and are secured through their interlocking cuts, eliminating the need for glue or sewing while highlighting the logic of construction. The two felt layers are fully customizable, offering either a unified monochrome appearance or two-tone color combinations that emphasize depth and variation. Crafted from 100% merino wool felt and stainless steel, the design reflects a considered approach to durability and material efficiency.
