Growing up, studying meant relying on books and handwritten notes. I often found myself propping my books at an angle to read them more comfortably while writing in my notebook, but they would always slide off the table. I would think, What if my desk had a stand to hold my reference book securely? This study table design is inspired by those childhood experiences. Its slanted top provides ergonomic ease for referencing books, while the lower shelf offers a practical solution for keeping your workspace tidy—combining functionality with thoughtful design.
Crafted with precision, the first level features a gracefully curved aluminium sheet, exuding a sense of industrial chic. Above the aluminium sheet rests a luxurious 6-inch Indigo Polished Teak Wood top, adding warmth and depth to the ensemble. Between the two materials there lies a functional gap, perfectly designed to store extra stationery, books, or any other essentials, keeping your space organised and clutter-free.
Completing the design are minimalist round wood legs, elegantly supporting the structure. Each leg is adorned with an aluminium casting detail at its joineries, adding a subtle yet striking accent to the overall aesthetic.
Made with Grade A teak, hand-bent 6mm raw aluminium, cast joineries. Tool-free 6-step assembly. Finished with non-toxic stains, water-based sealant. Cross pipe provided for footrest in newer designs.
