Leaky Lamp I stages a grotesque dialogue between ash wood, brass, and bioplastic. Its silhouette deliberately evokes an oil spill — a visual paradox that critiques unsustainable practices while itself being built from a sustainable material. The clean geometry of a conventional lamp is interrupted by cascading drips, an organic disruption that shifts the object’s identity and demands a second look.

Each drip captures a fleeting moment between gravity, material, and maker’s hand, and because that process can’t be repeated exactly, the result is a singular, unrepeatable piece — an artefact of transformation that finds beauty in imperfection and the inevitability of change.
