    Description

    The Ito floor lamp by Stem embodies the transience of life’s passing moments that we often wish to hold on to — an ode to the beauty of the ephemeral experiences that keep the momentum of life flowing. Ito comprises individual strands of soft cotton thread suspended freely from a brass frame, cast from hand-sculpted patterns, exploring the essence of the human touch and the natural beauty of impermanence through contrasting materials. The form appears as a solid cuboid volume from afar, then reveals an airy, light character as the wind blows, mesmerising the viewer with its warm glow.

    Made to order. The product is carefully crafted by master artisans and produced in small batches, making it challenging, if not impossible, to create identical items. Natural blemishes or irregularities should not be viewed as flaws — production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting that contribute to the uniqueness of each handmade piece.

    Materials: cast brass and cotton threads. Finish: burnished and waxed, with a protective coating on the threads.

    Ito is compatible with all regions, though the bulbs supplied depend on where you are:

    • IND / UK / EU: 4 × G9 LED bulb included — 3.5W, 220–240V. Dimmable.
    • US / JPN, or any region on a 110–120V supply: 4 × G9 LED bulb not included. Source locally; suggested 3W–5W, 110–120V.
