    Description

    Ignis tells stories of fire and birds through sculptural form, leaving the specifics open to whoever’s looking at it. Lit, it gives off a soft amber glow; switched off, its tactile surface patterns become more vivid and take over as the main event. The high-gloss stainless steel shell wraps around a core of bio resin and rice paper, pairing soft and hard, light and heavy, in the same object.

    Each side of the lamp carries a different motif, and because the cord isn’t fixed to one side, the whole lamp rotates freely to bring a different face forward.

    Wipe clean with a damp or dry fibre cloth. To change the bulb, carefully remove one side and lift out the core — take care around the sharp metal corners.
