Nicola Round Dining Table in Solid Oak
by Mike Hausmann · Barcelona, Spain

The NICOLA Round Table is a handcrafted solid oak dining table that combines traditional woodworking with a refined contemporary design. Part of the NICOLA collection, it is defined by an intersecting trestle base and a generous round tabletop, creating a balanced composition of structure, proportion, and natural material.

Crafted entirely from solid oak, the table features a cross-shaped trestle base that provides stability while maintaining an open and visually light structure. The intersecting supports create a strong architectural rhythm beneath the tabletop, with the exposed construction revealing the precision of the craftsmanship.

The round tabletop softens the geometry of the base and creates an inviting setting for dining and conversation. Its circular shape allows people to gather naturally around the table while providing a generous surface for everyday use and entertaining.

The natural oak grain remains visible across the tabletop, with variations in tone, texture, and pattern giving each piece its own character. Lighter and darker areas of the wood highlight the organic richness of the material and reinforce the individuality of every table.

Traditional joinery is intentionally exposed throughout the structure, making the construction an integral part of the design. Rather than relying on decorative elements, NICOLA Round Table is defined by precise proportions, honest materials, and functional structural details.

With its combination of solid oak, sculptural trestle construction, and minimalist form, the NICOLA Round Table works naturally in contemporary residential interiors, dining rooms, hospitality spaces, and architectural projects.

A timeless round oak dining table where traditional craftsmanship, contemporary design, and the natural warmth of solid wood come together.
