The Mar dining table by Ecuadorian design project, Laluz Handcraft, is an asymmetric sculptural piece meant to transmit grounding simplicity and softness, evoking a sense of soft minimalism. It features two central bases supporting its top, each hand-shaped to evoke the flow of nature and water within the Ecuadorian Rain Forest. Every edge is meticulously crafted to feel rounded and organic, invoking a sense of ease and tranquility while using it. The table’s wood, carefully selected from fair trade Gurango wood, exudes a Scandinavian modern aesthetic and coastal appeal, showcasing the natural colors of the wood in a beautiful dance of shapes and forms. Crafted by passionate Ecuadorian artisans, this dining table pushes the boundaries of wood as a material.”

The table is made entirely in solid wood, the bases and the top come packed separately with an easy built in mechanism to join them with four screws for each base.
