Description

The design is a “regular” type of chair with three feet. It is red and blue.

The work presented here is an eclectic result of Afropean roots, an interpretation of furniture with a new point of view.

The whole process of creating the chair is centred around craftsmanship and upcycling. It is empty, so it makes noise if knocked on. Entirely welded with upcycled metals (did you notice the bicycle piece?) found in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. It was made in 2017 (during the FESPACO).

This piece is the second of a three (1/3) part presentation of Carl Hultin’s project called “Come See”, one of his very first designs ever.
