Description

The L1 High is a floor lamp by Luiz Solano, produced from 3 mm-thick aluminum sheets, laser-cut and bent. The sheets interlock and are fastened with screws, so the final form both provides stability to the piece and creates flanges that direct the light — structure and optics arrived at in the same operation.

The sheets used in the L1 series are anodized. Aluminum anodizing is an electrochemical process aimed at forming an oxide layer on the metal surface.
