Description

Kado is a hand-sculpted stone side table that explores balance through form and void. It is carved in Mexico by skilled artisans from solid Masahua marble, a native stone characterized by its soft grey tone and fine white veining. The surface is honed to a matte finish, allowing the natural depth and movement of the material to remain visible.

The table is formed by two surfaces, one more elongated than the other, defined by soft radii, rounded edges, and controlled transitions. These elements read as two volumes that merge into one through precise junctions, creating a central void that brings visual balance and lightness to the piece. The geometry is not imposed but revealed through the carving process, respecting the integrity of the stone.

Kado is available in a range of stones, including Black Querétaro marble, White Travertine, Yellow Travertine marble, Fiorito Travertine marble, Arena Grey Travertine marble, Tepeji Travertine marble, Capricho Travertine marble, Santo Tomás Grey marble stone, closed-pore volcanic stone, and select canteras, each offering distinct tonal and textural qualities.

Additional stones may be sourced upon request, subject to availability.
Dimensions can be modified and custom adaptations developed to meet specific project requirements.
