Conic 01 is a sculptural lighting object made of porcelain and stainless steel that brings ambient light to a space, entirely handmade by Hanna Fastrich in her London studio.
After firing the porcelain at a high temperature, the material becomes slightly translucent, softly letting light penetrate the caramel glaze. The stainless steel boxes are carefully TIG-welded with a point pattern, where the colourful welding marks are meticulously sanded down to achieve a smooth clean surface and an edge that resembles stitching. The small lathe-turned stainless steel cone functions as a dimmer switch.
The lamps can either be hung on the wall or placed on a table; custom sizes are available on request.
This lamp can be customised to have the right cable for any country or for a wall outlet.
