Exélixi is conceived as a spatial presence rather than simply a light source — a vertical silhouette meant to anchor a room and hold its sculptural presence even when switched off. It’s designed to be the one piece that’s enough on its own.
Crafted in Marseille, Exélixi is 3D printed from plant-based PLA infused with recycled scallop shells, a material that reveals subtle variations in colour, texture and translucency, so each piece interacts differently with the light around it. Its name means ‘evolution’ in Greek, and the form expresses that idea directly: from a dense, textured base to a smoother, lighter upper section, echoing a passage from rugged landscape to peaceful horizon.
It’s also available in a 142cm version and with a uniform texture. The integrated LED is dimmable and controlled via an RF remote.
