Crafted from laminated and waxed beech, meticulously molded, and hand-carved in a small workshop, the Trb chair by Goslo Studio invites you to reconnect with a more instinctive way of sitting.

Born from the habit of sitting on the floor, it evokes a sense of community—like a gathering around a fire, a return to the tribal essence that inspired its name. In Japan, it is said that people live longer thanks to simple habits like this; the repeated act of sitting and rising strengthens the body, improving flexibility and resilience over time.

Merging Western comfort with a primal spirit, this chair reinterprets ancestral postures in a form adapted to contemporary living.

Each chair is handcrafted with care, with every single sheet of wood carefully selected and carved. Minor imperfections and natural singularities make every piece truly one of a kind.

Alejandro Gómez Slok is a designer who merges art and function, exploring the intersection of craftsmanship and technology. His work is based on experimentation with materials and processes, combining digital fabrication with manual techniques to create objects that challenge the conventions of traditional design.In 2012, he began his career in the medical products sector, researching and developing ergonomic tools for surgeons. Later, he worked in a design studio focused on mass production, where products followed commercial trends without taking innovative risks. However, his desire to explore new forms and materials led him to embark on an entrepreneurial journey alongside a like-minded classmate, designing products with a strong emphasis on functionality and user experience.Today, as the founder of Goslo Studio, Alejandro continues to explore new ways to integrate craftsmanship with advanced technologies such as 3D printing and digital fabrication. His goal is to develop pieces that not only meet aesthetic needs but also propose new forms of interaction and use. For him, design is a process of composition—extracting ideas from the world around us, organizing them, and bringing them to life in objects that tell stories and create meaningful experiences.
