Description

Slim Op is a modular standing lamp by Pani Jurek Studio that adapts its height to the user’s needs and the room’s function. The two-module version shown here works as a table lamp, while taller configurations of the same design create ambient floor lighting instead.

It’s made entirely from white clay, glazed in one of fourteen colours from the studio’s palette, showcasing the natural beauty of the material; each piece is handcrafted, making every lamp genuinely one of a kind. The studio created its OP objects to explore the relationship between colour and light, treating colour as something to surprise, transform and delight, and using the series to shed light — literally and metaphorically — on the material beauty of ceramics.

It takes an E27/E26 bulb, included, hand-glazed ceramic throughout, with a delivery time of 6-8 weeks.

Pani Jurek was established in 2010 by Magda Jurek, a painting graduate who thinks of her objects as signs, sculptures or installations, treating them also as tools for building abstract compositions.Pani Jurek's objects go beyond conventional function.
