This visually captivating shelf by Formatter, features functionality through a closed cabinet for discreet storage, open shelves for easy access, and a display shelf for showcasing cherished items. It sets the tone for the entire MAST collection. The shelf is a thoughtfully designed interior accent that can stand in the middle of the room or along the wall. It can also divide space into different zones while allowing a natural flow.

MAST is a bold and modern collection, defined by strong, voluminous shapes, and soft round lines. The pieces’ design uses contrast thoughtfully, gently highlighting colors and materials – from rich, warm walnut hues, to the stern and smooth clarity of stainless steel.
The creative process was driven by an admiration of 20th-century art and design movements, committing to a modernist approach and a singular style. Its approach to luxuriousness and timelessness relies on a monumental, but elementary use of shape – it plays on a constant balance between softness and precision.
This collection transcends mere aesthetics. Its versatile design allows it to seamlessly integrate with minimalist, mid-century modern, brutalist, contemporary, or industrial environments. Each piece adapts effortlessly, offering a modern twist or being a grounding element, depending on your vision.
Our design philosophy for the collection is best characterized by a complete dedication to clean-cut lines and organic shapes, while mindfully using contrast, bringing together natural and industrial elements.
