    Description

    One line, one material. The delicate contour was authentically transferred to the aluminum plate through a bending process, giving the chair a remarkable lightness. Aluminum is infinitely recyclable, durable, and long-lasting, conveying its value through a timeless elegance.

    The decision was made to forgo additional materials and adhesives in order to fully return the chair to the cycle and preserve the integrity of both the material and the core concept.

    The consideration of the correct material thickness provides the necessary stability and comfortable flexibility. The backrest yields and adjusts to the seating position or body shape, making the chair unexpectedly comfortable.

    Becoming a Designer was a long journey for me. I fought my way through all kinds of jobs, but none of them ever truly fulfilled me. That’s why I could never stick with any of them for long. The only thing that truly interested me and managed to capture my full attention was design. At first, the idea of becoming a designer seemed completely utopian to me, and I thought it was reserved only for certain people. But that soft voice inside me grew louder year after year. My desire to become a designer grew stronger and stronger. I began teaching myself how to design objects, studied Interior architecture for three semesters, and eventually started my bachelor’s degree in product design at the age of 39 at HfG Offenbach – probably the best decision of my life. Since then, I have been following my true calling, and work as a fulfilled designer. I create my designs deep from the bottom of my heart, with complete dedication. I am convinced that this value can be seen and felt in my work.
