The Black Wool Table Lamp pairs two contrasting materials from PletoStudio: a base built from Pleto Biocomposite — their own material blend of clay, hemp fibres, cellulose, wood shavings, and mineral components bound with an eco-friendly binder — finished in a light, matte clay tone that recalls natural ceramic surfaces, and a shade of natural Carpathian wool in a deep black tone, layered entirely by hand into a dense, voluminous texture.

That fibrous wool surface diffuses light evenly, giving off a warm, calm glow without harsh shadows or contrast, and the interplay between the pale mineral base and the dark wool shade is the piece’s central composition.
