Description

Saleccia, the tripod side table by Laetitia Perrin Studio, is a unique piece of chamotte stoneware engraved and tinted with a blue cobalt oxide-like patina technique. The ceramic has been engraved and then polished to give the furniture a soft, smooth appearance. The engravings and the glazing technique make it possible to create a range of blues of varying depths. The piece’s name, Saleccia, evokes the variations in blue found in Saleccia in Corsica. This beach is difficult to reach by land, and you must cross the Agriates desert to discover a heavenly landscape.

Laetitia Perrin’s work is very much inspired by nature, the colors it reveals, the smells, and the multitude of organic forms. This side table has a simple architectural shape that reveals variations in texture and color.

This piece can be used every day as an occasional table or stool.

About Laetitia Perrin Studio Visit Showroom →

Laetitia Perrin, architect DPLG, has devoted over twenty years of her career to Louis Vuitton's architecture department. Here, she was responsible for the design and implementation of some sixty stores worldwide, working on a variety of elements such as volumes, light, materials, murals, furniture and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment). From initial conception to final implementation, these projects offered her the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of designers, craftsmen and cultures, enriching her creative and technical approach. She subsequently took charge of concept and furniture development, as well as materials research and development and artisan sourcing. Since 2006, Laetitia Perrin has trained in ceramics with Patricia Vieljeux in her Paris workshop, while deepening her mastery through training in high-temperature enamel creation and passing a CAP in ceramic turning. This path, nourished by research, experimentation and constant audacity, has enabled her to explore shapes, materials and textures in depth Founded in 2024 in Paris and Pantin, Laetitia Perrin Studio is both a design agency and a craft manufacturing workshop. Specializing in collectible furniture, lighting fixtures and ceramic objects, the studio transforms raw material into exceptional materials to give life to free, functional forms, often imbued with an architectural dimension. The studio's creations, all unique, include a variety of pieces: murals, furniture, lighting, bas-reliefs, tableware and exceptional objects. These works, both diversified and rich in materiality, weave a singular link between craftsmanship, art and architecture. The studio also offers a catalog of ceramic textures, designed to meet the needs of its customers' projects.
