The Pupa Side Table is a testament to the fusion of innovative design and traditional craftsmanship, conceived by the creative minds at Lørdag & Søndag in Mexico City. The masterful weaving work was carried out by the hands of expert artisan Alberto Cruz Mejía in Tequisquiapan, Querétaro, Mexico.

Reflecting the transformative journey of an insect’s metamorphosis, the stool’s uniquely shaped legs are artfully crafted to symbolize the different stages of change, hence the name ‘Pupa’. The tactile surface is expertly woven from natural wicker fibers, while an internal metal framework ensures the stool’s form is matched by function, providing durable support and stability.
