The SIDE TABLE NO.I is an architectural and sculptural take on everyday objects. It is a three-level, two-sided table designed as a hollow piece minimizing its weight. Drawing inspiration from the forms in The Pedestals Collection, SIDE TABLE NO.I is available in editions crafted from stoneware clay, with the intention to enhance longevity and achieve a natural finish. Each one-of-a-kind edition is carefully sculpted and finished by hand in Montréal using coiling techniques.

This item is completely sculpted by hand. Due to the nature of the medium and human touch, slight variations are expected. Please allow dimensions to vary within an inch.

Zeynep Boyan is an artist and designer based in Montréal working with clay as her primary material. She creates abstract and biomorphic sculptures, furniture and other functional objects - all sculpted by hand with an utmost attention to detail. Her sculptures are characterized by their strong emphasis on materials, texture, and form. Meanwhile, her functional pieces aim to showcase the beauty of everyday objects and foster a deeper connection between people and the objects that inhabit their daily lives.
