Description

The Nomad Ⅱ:09 is a table lamp by Sofia Karnukaeva. The natural motifs the artist transforms into sculptural elements relate to the theme of home — a safe and private space where semi-darkness may linger or be illuminated by light.

With its streamlined form, the piece evokes associations with both bodily and zoomorphic shapes, simultaneously resembling a nest, a beehive, or a cave. The surface of this handcrafted ceramic piece is left in its natural state, allowing light to interact with it in various ways and create diverse effects. It is not merely an object but a symbol of a home filled with life and tranquility.

The piece was created using the hand-sculpting technique with stoneware, embracing the beauty of raw, organic textures.

This lamp can be customized to work in any country.
