The MEZQUITE table lamp was designed for the De Palo collection by Mexican artist Isabel Moncada. When burnt using the Japanese technique Shou sugi ban, the wood grains become apparent and cracks randomly appear in the solid trunk — Mezquite’s beauty is achieved through its imperfections. The piece pairs a turned pinewood base with a burnt finish and a flexible lampshade made from natural linen fabric.
