Description

An odd to life after death, an organism suspended in space, fragile and eternal at once. Mother-of-pearl is a piece that recalls the seabed and a family of abyssal creatures, shining from the deepest depths of the world. This biophilic Ceiling lamp is made from the remains of old windows, molded with a process similar to human cremation, subjected to 860°C for over 10 hours.

Dimmable. CRI 90 – 2700 K ~120 v E27 If you wish to use it with 220V current and a type C plug, please indicate it when making your purchase or get in touch.

About ehécatl Visit Showroom →

Born in the lush landscapes of Cuernavaca, amidst the buzzing symphony of insects and the echoes of Mexico’s 20th-century summer decadence, I have embarked on a journey as an independent creative in artistic design since 2006. I harbor a profound belief that the objects inhabiting our world possess a vitality, they stage our story and deserve to be inherited and cared for over time, like a family memory. I also know that they shape our future, serving as means to engage in politics and present fantastic and reconciliatory realities in the face of adverse uncertainty.
