Haumea Convex is the outgoing counterpart to ELOA’s Haumea Amorph — where Amorph’s characteristic curves fold inward, Convex’s curve outward, moving through space like a weightless asteroid or a warbling bubble. The opaque flieder glass gives the form a full, tactile presence rather than the translucent gradient of the Amorph pieces.
The shape is meant to evoke the curve of the human body, and its mouth-blown glass can be used as a standalone table piece, as a pendant lamp, or assembled together with other Haumea pieces into the STATIX floor lamp. Paired with Haumea Amorph, the two are designed to play off each other — plus and minus, inside and outside.
Available in five sizes — S, M, L, XL, and XXL — with dimensions varying slightly given the handcrafted, mouth-blown process. Further customisation of the glass colour, as well as the metal and cable colour, is available on request.
