Description

Elephant Armchair is a sculptural seating piece where softness and structure converge. Its generous, layered cushions create a sense of comfort and weightlessness, while the chair’s compact proportions and rounded base evoke the grounded presence of the animal that inspicompact inspires its name.

The upholstered surface introduces a tactile rhythm through subtle stitched details that move across the fabric, contrasting with the solid, sculptural legs. Inspired by the sturdy, rounded legs of an elephant, the base is crafted in ash wood, giving the piece both visual strength and stability while reinforcing its distinctive silhouette.

About Szymon Keller Visit Showroom →

Szymon is a designer born in Pomerania, Poland, whose work is built around memory, migration, and the dialogue between cultures. Trained in Fine Arts and with a career that bridges interior design and collectible design, his practice is nourished by observing the environment and a deep connection with nature. The light of the Mediterranean, the landscapes of his homeland, and the architecture of Barcelona coexist in his studio, where he creates pieces that capture fleeting moments. He works mainly with resin, allowing factors such as light, temperature, or humidity to leave their mark on each object, turning it into a material testimony of time and place.
