5mm Hand Brushed Aluminum; Regional Oak Wood (38mm material thickness) – blackened and oiled.

With a seat height of 50cm, this bench can be optimally integrated into selected interiors as a seating surface, as well as a lowboard, shelf, or decorative object.

The special grain of the oak blackwood adds character and naturalness, but also captivates with its monochrome and subtle design. This combination makes this designer bench a perfect centerpiece to enhance curated home interiors.

Inspired by our Yakisugi Burnt Wood Coffee Table, this bench works with a similar design, but forgoes the burnt surface to be durable as seating furniture.

Perfect in combination with other items from our Monochrome series, such as in a seating ensemble with the Blackwood Lounge Chair and our Burnt Wood Coffee Table.

Founded by a team of interdisciplinary designers with backgrounds in both visual culture and crafts, case studios works across the disciplines of product, interior, and artistic installation with the intention of the development and execution of ideas.The German Design Studios' main focus is the material, its features, structure and meaning. The intentional use, curation and finishing of unique and long lasting materials creates objects that both reshape and highlight the initial features of the certain material.
