The Tronco Coffee Table is conceived as a modular sculptural system: six stainless-steel forms that gather, separate, and recombine with ease. Inspired by the quiet geometry of tree trunks arranged in nature, each cylinder is shaped to echo the organic irregularity of wood while reimagining it through the precision and reflectivity of metal. What appears solid and heavy is, in fact, unexpectedly light: hydroforming techniques and controlled pressure shape each piece from stainless steel, allowing the form to retain strength while remaining effortlessly movable.
In the studio of Nitush and Aroosh, stainless steel becomes a medium of exploration: pressed, expanded, and refined by hand until its surface folds into a landscape of soft ridges and sharp impressions. These undulations catch and fragment surrounding light, turning each module into a reflective sculpture that changes with the room. Placed together, the six elements create a unified coffee table with a strong architectural presence; arranged apart, they become sculptural accents that shift function as needed. The system is never fixed in place, its identity evolves with the space, inviting fluidity in both form and use.
Crafted with a commitment to innovation and sustainability, the Tronco set uses fully recyclable stainless steel and energy-efficient forming processes that minimise environmental impact. Each piece is individually handmade, and therefore inherently unique, carrying subtle variations in surface and contour that reveal the touch of the maker. Offered in polished or matte finishes, the Tronco Coffee Table can be tailored to a variety of interiors while retaining its sculptural integrity.
Handmade stainless-steel modular system of six closed-base units. Formed using hydroforming + hand-finishing. Lightweight, movable, customizable in finish (polished/matte) and color.
