The MEZQUITE LARGE floor lamp was designed for the De Palo collection by Mexican artist Isabel Moncada. Like a chess bishop, Mezquite makes its presence felt in a resounding manner. It has a sturdy wood base whose dark finish gives it great character, and its edges are embossed when burned with the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique. The piece pairs a turned pinewood base with a burnt finish and a flexible lampshade made from natural linen fabric.
