Description

The history of peteca (shuttlecock) is genuinely Brazilian. Name given to both sport and artifact, peteca has indigenous origin, a creation of the natives that inhabited the territory that now belongs to the State of Minas Gerais, home of Cultivado em Casa. It was also in Minas that this recreation of the Indians became official as a sports practice.
Referring to a splendid headdress, the 56 petecas that adorn the seat and back rest our ancestrality. The slim structure of the chair enhances the feathers of the peteca, while its rubberized face provides comfort.
