T-02 is a solid wood dining table that comfortably seats four. Designed with small spaces in mind, the singular base provides an easy “in and out” movement vs a traditional 4 legged table. Guided by traditional Japanese woodworking, this piece combines the long-standing tradition of wood joinery with modern fabrication techniques creating an extremely sturdy structure. Similar to my other designs, each dimension has been thoughtfully chosen so each part relates to the others and the space between them.
The table can be made in various wood species, white oak, ash, walnut, etc. Shown here in American white oak. The finishes used are all 100% non-toxic plant-based mixtures of waxes and oils that create a matte hardened top coat. Food grade, completely safe for humans/animals, and extremely durable/resistant to staining.
Please note: wood is a natural material, no two boards are identical, and each table will have a different grain pattern than what is seen in the photos here. This being said, each board is carefully hand-selected to ensure only the most beautiful boards are used.
