Mingling is built from two tall illuminating chambers, each with a large bubble portal, joined directly to a custom bronze base. The two glass forms are sealed together using the natural tackiness of molten glass as they’re worked — the material acts as its own glue, so the joint itself becomes a literal embrace between the two forms, simulating a sense of human intimacy and connection.

Each piece is hand-blown by the maker’s team in Brooklyn, New York, and paired with custom hardware. It can be used as either a table or floor light.

The lamp is UL certified and includes two replaceable LED tubes.
