DRYFT is an object that doesn’t so much divide space as gently organize it. Rather than defining boundaries, it creates relationships. Present yet unobtrusive, it introduces rhythm, filters views, and allows the interior to breathe.
Created in collaboration with Julia Luteracka, its form originates from the language of textile patterns – enlarged and translated into a spatial structure. What once existed as a surface becomes an object.
DRYFT is calm and deeply material. Natural plywood, rhythmic cut-outs, and subtle brass connections create a warm, domestic, slightly nostalgic character. The project also marks an expansion of BLUBA Studio into CNC technology while preserving the idea of digital craft – a dialogue between digital design and physical matter.
The divider can be freely repositioned, folded, and opened, adapting to both the space and its user.
The object was presented during Milan Design Week 2026.
