Description

“Biblioteca de Referências” series explores immersive images from the designer’s imagination and subconscious. These creations often originate from understanding dreams and memories. The pieces in this collection exhibit a whimsical and theatrical character, resembling small installations and characters designed to inhabit different environments within space.
The first piece of the series, entitled “Biblioteca de Referências I,” features a collection of chest-like buffets adorned with cedar wood balls, carefully embedded randomly on all faces of the pieces. The buffet is covered in Jequitibá wood veneer, with its interior made of recycled PET laminate.

The piece interior can be made in custom colors.

Sofia Venetucci has been dedicated to projects focused on furniture design since 2017. For her, design is a powerful communication tool that unfolds between the object, human being and its context. In the work developed over these years, this dialogue takes place based on forms, materials and construction methodologies. Sofia has a degree in Design, and worked for five years between Institute and Studio Campana, one of the most respected design studios in the world. Sofia decided to follow her career as an independent designer and nowadays she dedicates herself to her own design projects. Her studio is currently located in São Paulo, Brazil.
