Inspired by the work of Bauhaus textile artist Anni Albers, this version of the De La Paz chair, named after her, is an exploration of the use of color through collaboration.
MAYE, experts in colorimetry, were inspired by two of Anni’s works to create pieces that dialogue with contemporary design. These combinations were adapted to the De La Paz chair, a piece that recently became part of the Comité de Proyectos catalog.
This collaboration consists of a limited run of 100 pieces: 50 of the Anni Cocoa model and 50 of Anni Toronja.
Anni Cocoa was inspired by the 1946 work “Con verticales”, an orchestration of parallel and perpendicular lines in terracotta tones.
Made of pine wood in a flamed finish glazed in burgundy color. Seat and back upholstered in Violet and Chutney Linara Romo fabric.
This chair cannot be modified in dimensions nor material variation.
