PROCESS: Repurposed ashes and kiln slag from BOFA waste-to-energy plant, wedge into recycled clay. The deforming shape is made by gradually lowering the melting point of the clay, meaning that at the top its pure clay and at the bottom its transcending into being glass. The piece is then covered in a thick layer of white glaze and fired to 1260 °C. The frame is welded and coated with green spray-paint.
