This collection of wood veneer lamps by Sheyang Li explores new forms through pattern cutting inspired by textiles and paper crafts. Each piece combines a patterned wood veneer shade with a hand-welded steel base, where small imperfections highlight the handmade process. Patchworks of veneer are used not only for their visual impact but also to strengthen the naturally fragile material—a nod to the practical repairs often hidden in the making process, now turned into a feature.
