Description

As a whole, Object 00 is confusing. It doesn’t try to solve anything; actually, it might problematic instead. It is strange. It does not fall into any category. Sometimes it is a shelving unit for things, curiosities, and maybe some books and magazines. It houses small obsessions from our present. Sometimes it only shelters its dracaena, which grows without asking permission, expands and plays, pushing away those objects of human admiration and fetishism. Sometimes it is a lamp. Sometimes it is all of the above.

We are content with Object 00 being indefinable, incomplete, failing over and over again to pass through any of the filters of “good design”. We look instead for the work to be peculiar, strange, and non-referential. And more than anything, insecure in its proposal.
