Description

The “Nest” collection by Errin Kancal is a series based on form and functionality. Objects of purpose; chairs of posture and poise. A link in communication with the body. The lines are shapely and distinctly designed with a harbor – a home to rest one’s self and their appendages, packages, or bags.

The “Nest” collection is a perfect place to pause with peace of mind. Designed for hospitality – a plush vibe, roomy, with the signature nook
to keep things safe.

About the designer

Errin, an innovative and visionary cultural designer, acquired her BA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago and MA from Central Saint Martins. Errin’s work explores the boundaries between art&design and reimagines cultural gestures and metaphors as it translates to form. Her acute observation renders distinct installations, collectible furnishings, and unique objects. Errin’s interpretation of nuances and worldly desires take on shapes that are filled with passion and practicality. Her focus in collectible design stems from her desire to share her belief in the magical fusion of art within functional design. The inclusion of artistry in her work is an integral part of every project she embarks on.
