Frames by Violaine d’Harcourt is a collection of handcrafted wall sconces built on minimalist form and the interplay between a paper shade and raw materials — raw steel (Brut), polished steel (Miroir), lacquered steel (Brun, Black or OW) or wood veneer (Wood).
Inspired by modernist architecture and conceived as delicate scale models, each sconce gives soft, ambient light, the brand’s signature. Contrasting textures play up the graceful curve of a paper wave, holding a quiet tension between fragility and strength.
Every piece is handcrafted in the studio’s Lisbon-based atelier, each detail overseen by the studio team; because every piece is made with intention, production can take up to 6 weeks before dispatch.
This is the large (L), American-spec version. The lamps are designed for indoor, dry locations only; the fixtures aren’t UL listed, though all electrical components meet applicable American standards.
