Part of the Artistica Collection, the Rei Series draws inspiration from the early work of fashion designer Rei Kawakubo, translating her distinctive approach to form, composition, and atmosphere into a language of furniture and space.
Rooted in a broader creative ecosystem where art, architecture, photography, and film intersect, the series embraces a sense of sculptural tension and visual layering. Each piece shifts between structure and softness, restraint and exaggeration, expressing a design ethos that resists categorisation.
Quietly radical and carefully constructed, the Rei Series reflects an ongoing interest in how ideas move across disciplines and how objects can embody that complexity in their posture. Through proportion, rhythm, and material presence, these works extend the dialogue between making and thinking.
This piece is made to order and is therefore non-returnable once production begins, in line with Adorno’s return policy.
Each body is freestanding, with the overall composition connected by a discreet metal pin or magnet. The connection holds the composition in place while allowing for readjustment.
