    Description

    ECHIN is a suspended light object defined by texture, rhythm, and a living surface.
    The rectangular shade is wrapped in natural cotton fabric, stretched over a structured frame to create a soft yet defined geometric volume. Its surface is entirely hand-finished, embroidered with glass bugle beads and Czech glass seed beads with a metallic coating, forming a dense, irregular field that evokes the texture of a living organism.
    Extending beyond the edges, the bugle beads create a delicate fringe that softens the contour of the object and enhances its presence in space.
    When illuminated, light passes through the textile and interacts with the beads, producing a soft, diffused glow with a subtle shimmer — transforming the piece into a quiet, atmospheric presence.
    The shade is treated with a fire-retardant spray for added safety.
    Conceived as a collectible lighting object, ECHIN exists between object and light — defined by material, rhythm, and tactile detail.
