About Vincent Decat Visit Showroom →

"My pieces are intended to be companions rather than possessions. I give my objects organic, animated qualities, hoping that people will grow attached to them the way they would to a pet." Vincent Decat is a Paris-based artist and designer exploring the intersection between sculpture and functional design. Graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, he creates interior objects that integrate sculptural thinking into everyday use. His work is characterized by forms that suggest life and movement, pieces that seem to breathe or shift, inviting physical interaction. These animal-like qualities transform functional objects into personal and engaging pieces. By creating pieces that feel almost alive, he encourages a relationship of care rather than consumption. They become companions that people want to preserve and cherish over time.
